Little People Coming to America!

December 16, 2010

...very soon hopefully...

I've just signed with the lovely people at Autonomous Music who will now act as my booking agents for North America. They represent a whole host of cool artists like Emancipator, DJ Vadim and Alex B. A lot of you have been enquiring about possible US tour dates - so expect Little People at theater near you in the not so distant future. No dates as of yet, but i'll be looking to play some venues with the release of my new album sometime next year. Needless to say i'm very very excited by all of this!

So which venues would you like to see me play at??

EDIT: Thanks for all your responses below... didn't think i'd generate this many comments! I've put together a google map with all the venues and cities requested by all of you... Feel free to add to the map as i've made it public. Seattle is showing me a lotta love it seems!

London, England :)

Toussaint February 8, 2011 at 9:42 pm

Laurent-

Two quick questions.

Are you still signed with Illicit Records?
and,
What's the ETA on that album? :)

Ian - Illicit February 11, 2011 at 12:30 pm

Toussaint - no he's not.

Not because we wouldn't love him to be, but more because we don't really operate as a label any more.

We might come back one day, but we're too busy to do it justice!

That said, I am helping Laurent out with the release.

ATLANTA, GA!!! Huge underground electronic music scene here. Your show would be huge and plenty of names you could run with come through all the time. For instance, I saw a Blockhead and Emancipator concert last week at King Plow Arts Center. You would have been a perfect addition.

Bigger venues include the Masquerade, which has 3 stages, Variety Play House, Loft/Center Stage/Vinyl, the Earl and the Tabernacle. So many options. ATL loves your music! Can't wait to see you live!

PLEASE come to Tucson! I saw the other guy's comment from here. I second that Club Congress would be an AWESOME venue for you...it's cozy and great for music. There are plenty of venues here (it's a college city...so there are plenty of people that are into the awesome music you do). Just please, I'm begging, now, come to Tucson! (or Phoenix...I'd drive up there, too) Just somewhere around Southern AZ!!!

Thanks, keep up the wonderful music.

Ps Its true Red Rocks out in Denver would be quite insane. One of the best venues.
